Claire Danks; our Director of Cosmetic Aesthetics studied nursing at Birmingham City University for 3 years where she gained a Dip HE in adult nursing. To further her career Claire then studied to gain a BSC in Anesthetics and Peri Operative practice, where she spent 14 years assisting elective and emergency procedures at Russell's Hall Hospital prior to studying advanced skills in aesthetics for professionals.
During this time Claire worked closely with a range of senior specialist cosmetic surgeons including Dr. Ganesh Krishnan,of Ziering Medical Group who specialises in hair restoration worldwide and Mr Mehboob Ali a leading plastic surgeon in reconstructive breast augmentation.

Fully insured, affiliated with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) (https://www.nmc.org.uk/registration/search-the-register/) and registered to the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), Claire has a huge client base of all ages (over 18) where she provides holistic and professional care to suit individual and personal expectations.
Appointments are flexible, working Monday - Saturday at various times including late appointments on selected days. On occasions and subject to terms and conditions home visits can be arranged.

Dermal Fillers
Lip enhancements:
Lip fillers reduce the appearance of fine lines, correct asymmetry and provide shape and volume to the lip area that may have been lost over time, resulting in a younger fresher enhanced look.
The lip filler product consists of a man made substance, which is naturally found within the tissues of the lip called hyaluronic acid. This gives the plumpness and elasticity to the skin that creates a more youthful appearance.
At Boux Aesthetics we use a range of products raging from Juvéderm Ultra/Vycoss and Teosyal, which are formulated into a gel. They are perfectly safe to use, as they contain no animal or human DNA.
Prior to treatment, a topical cream is applied to numb the lip area to make the experience as painless and comfortable as possible. The most common quote used to describe the feeling is 'a slight sting'. The lip fillers are then injected into the area required to create the look you require.
The results are instantaneous; however you must take into account the lips may be swollen and bruised from the treatment. A few days later the swelling and bruising will reduce. Aftercare treatment will then be communicated ensuring the best possible results.
For the skin to heal it’s recommended that you do not apply lipstick/lip creams for a period of at least 12 hours in duration.
The procedure usually takes up to 30 minutes long.

Depending upon the type of product chosen it is expected to last between 6-15 months.
To Note:
• If you are breast-feeding or pregnant the treatment cannot be carried out.
• If you suffer from cold sores it is recommended that you carry out your medical treatment
1 week prior to the procedure and 1 week following the procedure.

Nasolabial Folds/Marionette Lines:

Fillers are injected into the tissue around the nose and mouth areas to reduce wrinkles and depressions within the skin. This improves appearance and gives a younger fresher looking appearance.
Juvéderm and Restylane fillers contain hyaluronic acid formulated into a gel. Both products are perfectly safe to use, as there is no human or animal DNA contained.
